    Summary of the Role 

    As the Food & Beverage Manager at Jaego’s House, your role is pivotal in overseeing the entirety of our food and beverage operations, excluding direct food preparation which falls under the Head Chef's purview. Your objective is to organise, direct, and coordinate resources and activities within the F&B department to deliver an exceptional dining and drinking experience across our main restaurant, waterside terrace, various cafes within the club, including events and birthday parties operations. This includes ensuring that all members and guests are met with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude, significantly contributing to Jaego’s House's status as a distinguished venue within the local community. 

    You will be tasked with achieving financial targets and ensuring customer satisfaction within the F&B department, requiring regular reporting to the General Manager and internal stakeholders. 

     

    Areas of Responsibility 

    Operations Management: 

    • Supervise and coordinate activities across all F&B services, including the main restaurant, waterside terrace, various cafes within the club, including events and birthday parties operations ensuring efficient and smooth operations from opening to close. 

    • Maintain exemplary standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service quality. 

    • Manage inventory, order supplies, and oversee stock rotation to minimise waste and enhance cost-effectiveness. 

    • Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team to update menus and offerings, reflecting seasonal ingredients, trends, and guest preferences. 

    Guest Experience: 

    • Prioritise exceptional guest experiences, promoting a welcoming and attentive atmosphere across all F&B services. 

    • Address guest feedback, complaints, and enquiries professionally and promptly, aiming to resolve issues swiftly and exceed expectations. 

    Team Leadership: 

    • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate the F&B staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies, service standards, and safety protocols. 

    • Cultivate a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, effective communication, and personal development. 

    Financial Management: 

    • Develop and manage budgets for the F&B department, forecasting revenue and expenses, and implement strategies to meet financial targets and maintain cost controls. 

    • Analyse sales trends and financial reports to make informed decisions and take corrective actions as necessary. 

    Compliance and Safety: 

    • Ensure all F&B areas comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. 

    • Stay informed about industry regulations and trends, incorporating best practices into daily operations. 

    Event Coordination: 

    • Working with the necessary depts depending on the event or kids party, manage the planning, coordination, and execution of special events, private functions, and catering services within the F&B areas, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.  

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Demonstrable experience in food and beverage management, ideally within a similar hospitality environment. 

    • Strong leadership abilities with experience in staff recruitment, training, and motivation. Hands on approach and ability to lead from the front. 

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest and team interactions. 

    • Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost control in the F&B sector. 

    • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards applicable to the UK food service industry. 

    • Capable of multitasking and managing multiple aspects of the F&B operations in a fast-paced environment. 

    • Creative approach to enhancing dining experiences, menu offerings, and special events.

    As the Kids Club Manager at Jesse's House, you will lead the daily operations of the Kids Club, Fun Buddies, Kids Class both internal and external and party entertainers ensuring the delivery of high-quality classes, events, and activities for various age groups. Additionally, you will work closely with the HQ Head of Content and Kids Content Producer to align the club's offerings with broader content strategies, enhancing the overall member experience.

    · Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day running of the Kids Content listed above, ensuring all activities meet Jesse's House's high standards.

    · Programme Delivery: Execute a diverse weekly activities programme across the club as outlined by Head of Content.

    This role is within our Head Office team and will work across our Club and Nursery brands.

    What We Are Looking For

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced creative and storyteller, with a proven ability to create captivating content to join the growing team at Little Houses Group.

    The Marketing Executive will bring fresh, engaging, on-brand ideas that will generate brand growth online, particularly on our social media platforms, whilst working in a fast-paced environment. They will have exceptional copywriting skills, to narrate the brand story across our content channels, including the Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, our websites and on certain key design materials.

    They will be analytical and informed, staying on top of current trends on social media for the young family audience segment, optimising content for better engagement, and have experience designing and capturing photo and video (for social media).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Planning, scheduling, and posting of content across digital channels with a focus on social media

    • A great editor and social media photographer, who excels in creating organic content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

    • Creating captivating designs and engaging content suitable for social media, using platforms like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva

    • Growing social media channels, fostering conversations, and building a community of engaged followers

    • Developing the monthly social media strategy with the Senior Marketing Manager

    What We Are Looking For

    A person who can use their excellent communication/interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the membership team - therefore playing an essential role in the team as a key point of contact.

    Key Responsibilities

    The primary role of the Customer Service Administrator is to respond to all member enquiries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that potential members are given details on membership availability and given all the information required to satisfy their questions. The Customer Service Administrator will also encourage potential new members to see the Club on an open day/ tours and at times host tours as well.

    The Customer Service Administrator will be on hand to assist current members with any queries or questions they may have regarding their membership, assisting with upgrade, change of packages and support members using the members portal.

    The Customer Service Administrator will check on new and renewing membership payments, keep accurate records and ensure that payments are paid in a timely and regular manner. Organising refunds for members where required. They will manage cancellations which will involve removing members from the CRM system and facial recognition, ensuring all teams have been made aware. Someone who can use their initiative to identify improvements in the membership journey and ensure they maintain and uphold high standards of service to retain existing members, by liaising with the on site team to make any necessary changes.

    Day to day general support for the Membership team:

    • Answering emails, calls and responsible for dealing with all membership enquiries, processing any membership enquiries/hot leads;

    • Assisting with member-related issues;

    • Resolving complaints and handing them to management when necessary;

    • Collating Club feedback from the on-site team and inputting into CRM;

    • Assisting members with booking classes

    • Answering Whats App messages and escalating where necessary

    • Processing transactions;

    • Biweekly Reports to include cancellations/ feedback/ WhatsApp/ membership upgrades and downgrades.

    • Keeping track of members who have left the nursery and remove their discount

    • Ad-hoc projects and tasks

    Managing systems and reporting:

    • Superuser in our CRM;

      • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of related systems;

      • Assisting with data logging and report creation.

    Occasional support for the Events team:

    • Supporting with Member Events when necessary;

    This role is full-time, 5 days a week across 7 days (Monday-Sunday), 9am-6pm. A discretionary bonus will be available.

    What We Are Looking For

    We are looking for qualified Early Years Educators to deliver inspirational care and education for the children within our new Nursery.

    Benevolence and altruism are the essential qualities of a childcare worker. You must have an excellent sense of listening skills, your main role being to secure and comfort.

    Key Responsibilities

    Early Years Practitioners, as part of a defined team, are responsible for a cohort of children within Kensal House Nursery.

    • Support the mission and objectives of Kensal House Nursery by your contribution to a high quality and effective team within the setting.

    • Participate and deliver activities within the team and nursery room effectively and maintain Kensal House Nursery’s high standards in relation to all children and families.

    • To be a key person to a group of children, maintaining children’s records on their achievement, assessment and ensure that children of the group are making good progress and that their needs are met.

    • To be an effective and supportive team member and provide effective communication with other members and report timely to the manager of any issues/signs of progress/important updates.

    • To contribute to a termly and monthly plan with the team and produce teaching plans for their own key children.

    Role Requirements

    We are committed to the safeguarding of children and expect all staff to share this commitment, therefore we employ a strict screening process. Employment is thus subject to two satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

    • A relevant childcare qualification at least at Level 2

    • 40 Hours per week – Monday – Friday (with the occasional Saturday for training/open days)

    • Delivering activities that excite children and promote their learning and development

    • Supporting your room team with planning, observation, and assessment

    • Following the Early Years curriculum, safeguarding procedures, and nursery policies and procedures
