Party Policies & Procedures
These terms apply to all parties at Jaego’s House.
Please make sure your party guests are aware of any of these terms that may affect them, and that they have read our House Rules, Rules of Play. and know about Parking options: https://bit.ly/JaegosHouseRules
Payment Terms and Cancellations
1 - Party Deposit Payment
Your deposit payment of 50% secures your event date. The 50% deposit is calculated on the package you chose at the time of booking.
Please note, your event date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Once the payment link is sent you have 48 hours to pay the deposit. If after 48 hours payment has not been received the link expires and the date is open to be booked by another party.
For kids’ party packages, there is a minimum and maximum number for the party (birthday child(ren) need to be included within the total numbers):
Soft Play (0 – 4 years) = Minimum 10, Maximum 20 children
Jungle Gym (5 – 9 years) = Minimum 10, Maximum 20 children
Studio Party Room (0 – 10+ years) = Minimum 10, Maximum 20 children
Doves room (0-5) = Minimum 10, Maximum 15
Maximum party numbers are based on the room capacity and cannot be exceeded. Advance notice is required for the number of adults/parents in the party in addition to the children.
For kids’ parties the party parent is responsible for ensuring there is the correct ratio of adults to children is meet:
1 adult to 3 children from 3 months to 2 years;
1 adult to 4 children from 2 years to 3 years;
1 adult to 8 children from 3 years to 8 years.
We reserve the right to refuse the party to go ahead (with no compensation due to you) should the above ratio of adults to children not be adhered to. It is the party parents’ responsibility to ensure at all times that such a ratio is met.
2 - Final Payments
The remaining party cost and any selected add-ons must be paid in full no later than 1 month prior to the party date.
We require that you submit your final guest list a minimum of two weeks prior to your event date. This list should include the number of children and adults attending, along with the full names of all guests. For children, please provide their ages as well as any pertinent information regarding allergies, special dietary requirements, or special needs. It's important to note that once your final payment has been processed, we are unable to offer any form of refund.
Event inquiries made 1 month before the event date are subject to full payment for the party package and any selected add-ons.
Once final payment has been received, you may reasonably increase your guest numbers up to 2 weeks prior to the event date, provided that you have not reached the maximum room/area capacity. Please be aware that such an increase may incur an additional charge, which must be settled at the time of the adjustment.
For those in need of adult catering, we strongly advise placing your order at the time of final payment. To secure adult catering services, we request a minimum of 2 weeks' advance notice prior to the party date. Similarly, for any other add-ons, a minimum of 2 weeks' notice before the party is required. Please be aware that failing to provide this notice may result in Jaego’s House being unable to guarantee the availability of these add-ons.
3 - Cancellations
If you should have to cancel your party for any reason our terms are as follows:
Cancellations 35 days prior to party date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 34 days to 21 days to party date are subject to the deposit being non-refundable.
Cancellations within 20 days of party will be subject to the full party cost being non-refundable. Any customised add-ons which have been ordered/made will be included and cannot be refunded to the Member/Non-Member. These item(s) within the add-ons ordered can be picked up by the party coordinator within a time range confirmed by Jaego’s House.
If you wish to re-schedule your party, we require at least 21 days’ notice prior to the party date. Rescheduled parties will need to take place within 12 weeks from the cancellation date and a new date is subject to availability. A party already booked and then re-scheduled cannot be moved to a future date to fall within our 35-day refund criteria.
4 - Unexpected Party Guests
We cannot guarantee to cater to additional party guests on the day. Extra party guests (children and/or adults) are welcome so long as you have not reached your maximum room/area capacity. Should the room/area capacity not be exceeded we will do our best to accommodate guests (children and/or adults) on the day but we make no guarantees in this regard.
5 - Cancellations By Us
We will use our best efforts to make the party venue and Premises available to you on the agreed party date. We will not be liable if the party booking is cancelled for the following reasons:
If we believe the party booking is somehow of an illegal nature or immoral or would be harmful or prejudice to the reputation of Jaego’s House;
If you are 7 days or more in arrears with any due payments for the services or facilities which we agree to provide to you in relation to the party booking;
If we need to amend the party booking in any way, we will offer alternative facilities of a reasonable fit, status and comfort to the original party booking. If the alternative arrangement is not deemed fit by you, you will have the right to cancel the party booking in writing to parties@jaegoshouse.co.uk
You and your invitees must comply with all the rules and regulations currently in operation at the Premises. We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the Premises, without refund or compensation, for failure to comply with any of the Jaego’s House rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behaviour, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.
We reserve the right to close off any part of the facilities, party venue or the Premises for technical, operational or health and safety issues. We will not be liable to you should any foreclosure occur.
6 - Force Majeure, Weather, & Other Unexpected Events
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these conditions that is caused by a Force Majeure Event.
A Force Majeure Event means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation: strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.
If a Force Majeure event takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under these conditions:
We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you.
Our obligations under these conditions will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Force Majeure Event.
In the event that the contract still cannot be performed or any of the obligations be fulfilled within a period of three months, then either party can terminate the contract by notice in writing.
Should your party include access to an outdoor space at Jaego’s House and should it rain, we will do our best to provide parasols. We cannot guarantee access and/or availability for a suitable space indoors. Where an event is shortened, amended or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, no refunds can be issued.
Enhance your Party
We are happy to enhance your party experience with add-ons to make your child’s party extra special and tailored to them. We require a minimum of 7 days’ prior notice to guarantee additions to enhance your party.

You can purchase party extras such as:
Additional time and space for set up (dependent on availability)
Party games (age dependent)
Entertainers
Food and/or drinks for adults
Should you wish to bring any of your own decorations with you for the party, please do let us know ahead of time so we can advise you on the suitability of this. For the safety of our customers, please do not bring your own helium canister. We are happy to recommend companies to provide balloon arches and balloon decorations if what you wish is beyond what we can provide in house.
For parties in the restaurant during Club opening hours party parents/hosts can only bring a small selection of balloons (maximum 5 balloons no larger than 12 inches) or 2 large balloons (no larger than 34 inches) to be placed near the table.
Please do note that spray foam, party poppers, streamers, piñatas, are prohibited from Jaego’s House, and no decorations should be erected using cello-tape or Blutak (or their equivalents). The erection of any decorations must be authorised by the Event Manager. Any authorised decorations must be removed by the party parent/host at the end of the party. No decorations can be left behind and must be disposed of by the parent/host.
You and your guests are not permitted to make any alterations, changes or additions to the inside or outside of the property during your stay. Any damage caused as a result of attempting to do this will be charged in full to the party parent.
To prevent any damage, only pre-approved decorations are permitted on the walls of the party room. Please speak to your Event Manager before installing any decorations.
2 - Food and/or drinks for adults
No catering can be brought into Jaego’s House by the party parent/host or guests. All food items and beverages must be purchased from Jaego’s House.
Kids’ parties:
We can cater for your adult guests as well! If you would like to enjoy adult catering, we recommend you confirm your order at the time of final payment. To guarantee adult catering we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice prior to the party.
Private Hire events:
For private hires, we require a pre-order on all food and drinks a minimum of 10 working days before the event. Any changes to the pre-order within 10 working days of the event date cannot be guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate requests.
3 - Soft Play & Jungle Gym
Please note, you do not have exclusive use of the Soft Play/Jungle Gym and you will find other customers within the space during your party. Shoes are to be removed and stored; socks must be worn in the Soft Play/Jungle Gym area by both children and adults.
Use of the Soft Play/Jungle Gym must at all times be in accordance with our Play Rules.
Food
We have worked hard to ensure there is something for everyone on our menu. We strive to be a nut free environment, but it is possible that products sourced externally may be prepared in environments that contain traces of nuts. For further allergy information, please contact us.
Please inform us at time of booking if you require specialist dietary requirements when you book. We can only guarantee to accommodate any special dietary requirements with advance notice.
Event Timing
The event provided by Jaego’s House cannot wait for late party guests, as this will disrupt the event structure so, please ensureure all of your guests arrive punctually. Late arrivals will be shown to the party area by reception.
Kids' Parties: Party Parent Responsibilities
It is the party parent’s responsibility to inform party guests to arrive no more than a few minutes before the party start time.
Latecomers will not receive additional time and we are not able to restructure the party to accommodate late arrivals.
The party parent and adult guests are responsible for all party children at all times. The party parent is responsible to ensure there is the correct ratio of adults to children maintained at all times:
1 adult to 3 children from 3 months to 2 years;
1 adult to 4 children from 2 years to 3 years;
1 adult to 8 children from 3 years to 8 years.
In addition, the party parent should:
Provide a final guest list at least 2 weeks prior to the event date with both the number of children and adults attending and the full names of all the children and adults. Within your guestlist we also require the age of the children and any allergies, special dietary requirements or special needs they may have.
Explain the Jaego’s “Rules of Play” to the children.
Ensure that all children are dressed appropriately.
Ensure all children wear socks when using the Soft Play. It is advisable to bring spare socks on the day.
Not bring spray foam, cake sparklers, poppers, streamers, or piñatas – none of these are permitted at Jaego’s House.
Not use table sprinkles, glitter, cello-tape, Blu-tak (or equivalent) or any glue – all use of these products is prohibited in all parts of the building.
Ensure that all party children are collected by their parent or guardian at the end of the party time, and wait with/take responsibility for any children who are collected late.
Ensure that the party area is vacated with all belongings at the end of the allocated party time.
Ensure that all guests leave the building at the end of the allocated party time.
Notify us of any food allergies or special needs. In the case of a child suffering from severe allergies, it is the party parents’ responsibility to ensure that the child has an EpiPen with them and that the Jaego’s House staff are aware.
Liability
Jaego’s House does not accept any liability for any accident or injury sustained by children whilst on the premises.
The party parent must accept full responsibility for observing the children and ensuring that they are capable of using any equipment safely.
Jaego’s House accepts no responsibility should a child attend a party whilst unwell. It is the responsibility of each parent to ensure their child is fit and well when attending a party to reduce the risk of spreading any form of illness to other children in attendance. Jaego’s House reserves the right to refuse entry / remove children that are believed to be unwell.
The party parent accepts full responsibility for the actions and conduct of all children and adults attending a party. Fighting, bullying or any form of aggressive behaviour deemed to be unsuitable towards Jaego’s House staff, management, or other members of the public using the club, from either children or adults, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Jaego’s House reserves the right to enforce this with the removal of such child or adult. We request all parents to be vigilant and monitor any unacceptable behaviour from any child / parent and inform the management of this immediately.
Jaego’s House accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to property or articles (including personal property) brought into or left in any part of the premises. We encourage parents to ensure their children do not bring any valuable possessions with them.
The party parent accepts full responsibility for all damage to the premises, furniture, equipment or other property caused by any persons attending the party. The party parent will be responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement of any such damaged item.
All parents must be aware that Jaego’s House staff, are there to help maximise your child’s enjoyment during the course of the party. They are not, however, in any way a replacement for parental supervision. Any parent/guardian attending the party should note that whilst all due consideration has been given for the safety of children and accompanying adults, Jaego’s House cannot be held responsible for accidents which occur to any child / adult during their time at the club.
Party Games and Themes (for kids’ parties only)
We have several games to choose from in order to enhance your party. Please reach out to our Event Manager to discuss all options.
We are also happy for you to supply your own party theme – please discuss via email beforehand to ensure such theme and/or decorations are acceptable.
Birthday Cakes
Should Jaego’s House not be providing a cake the party parent can provide only a shop bought nut-free birthday cake and candles (only normal candles permitted). By law, cakes and cupcakes must be bought from a shop or cakemaker that follows UK Food Information Amendment, also known as Natasha’s Law. It is the responsibility of the party parent to ensure adherence to this – should the cake not meet these criteria, Jaego’s House reserves the right to refuse to allow such cake to be served and consumed on the premises. The cake must be brought to Jaego’s House in the original shop box with allergens clearly noted.
We must be informed 2 weeks in advance if you wish to bring your own cake. We will provide a cake slice, cutlery and plates.
No catering can be brought into Jaego’s House by the party parent/host or guests. All food items and beverages must be purchased from Jaego’s House.
Food Allergies and Special Needs
It is your responsibility to inform Jaego’s House of any food allergies or other important facts concerning all the children and adult guests attending your party. Please speak to our Party Coordinator about the ingredients in your party meal at the time of your booking. A food allergies and intolerance datasheet for our party food can be emailed to you upon request. Jaego’s House shall not be held responsible for any incidents involving food allergies if such allergies were not specifically brought to the attention of the management.

Entertainers & Facepainters
Jaego’s House can recommend or arrange additional entertainment for your kids’ party, as stated above.
If you wish to bring an entertainer of your own, it must be pre-agreed with us and the entertainer must supply proof of valid Public Liability Insurance and a DBS Check 7 days prior to the party via email. Should this not be provided they cannot entertain at Jaego’s House and will be refused entry.
If you wish to bring your own facepainter please ensure they have valid Public Liability Insurance and have shown you their Risk Assessment. We will also require this via email 7 days prior to the event date. Should this not be provided they cannot entertain at Jaego’s House and will be refused entry.
We cannot be held responsible for any injuries, allergic reactions or other damage caused by an independent entertainer or facepainter or products they may use. It will be the responsibility of the party parent to ensure that any independent entertainer or facepainter they supply adheres at all times to the terms and conditions of the club, and they shall further be liable for the costs associated with any damage caused to any of the premises by such independent entertainer or facepainter.
Party Feedback
If you have any problems during your party, it is important that you speak to management or the Duty Manager immediately to enable swift resolution.
In the unlikely event that the problem cannot be resolved at the time, please email full details of your grievance to parties@jaegoshouse.co.uk where your complaint will be thoroughly investigated following our internal complaints procedure.
