The Club FAQs
What are your opening hours?
The Downstairs (Gym and Restaurant) and Co-Working Office will be open from 7.30am. The rest of the House opens at 9am. All areas close at 6pm.
Will I have to book for the Gym/Crèche/Jungle Gym and Soft Play or can I just turn up?
We strongly advise you to book in advance. Slots will be available to book a couple of weeks before the club opens. You can do this through the online portal or via reception. You also need to book car parking and any 1-2-1 childminding in advance. Obviously plans change, so there will be the option to book some of the activities on the day if there is any availability.
How long are Jungle Gym and Soft Play sessions?
90 minutes from the beginning of your slot time.
How often is the Jungle Gym and Soft Play equipment cleaned?
We do a full clean of all equipment daily, the loos and changing areas are cleaned several times a day, and our cleaning staff are always on hand for any messier moments throughout the day.
Can I leave my child to play in the Jungle Gym and Soft Play while I do a class/go to the Gym?
We will be holding some Crèche and Kids' Club sessions in the Jungle Gym and SoftPlay where we will take care of the children. But for the rest of the future, we require adults to supervise their child/children at all times. Our staff are there to ensure equipment is being used correctly and that safe play is in progress but not to be in charge of the children. If you’re a member and you’d like to have some child-free time, remember you can use the Crèche either as part of your membership allowance or you can book additional sessions for £8/hour.
What classes do you offer for children/adults?
We will offer a wide and ever-changing timetable of activities such as pilates, yoga, barre and HITT for the adults, and music, messy play, cooking, baby sensory, baby massage and many more for the little ones.
Do children need to be accompanied by an adult for the classes?
Some yes and some no. We will advise on the specifics when you book the class.
What is the cancellation policy for classes, treatments, Crèche sessions, parking etc?
We ask that you give us 24 hours notice. If for any reason you cancel after that/don’t show up we will not be able to refund you for any paid activity.
How long can I use the Crèche for?
The Crèche is available to be booked up to two hours per child per day, subject to availability. Your free Crèche and Kids' Club hours need to be used in 2 x 2 hour slot. Please book in advance on our online portal or via reception to avoid disappointment.
Can I take my buggy inside?
All of Jaego’s House is buggy-free apart from the Waterside Café & Restaurant, where you can bring them in. To give members as much space as possible in the other areas, we ask that buggies and push-chairs are left in our secure buggy park, where our attendants will help you park and store them. We will also provide you with a clean ‘indoor’ bassinet if your baby needs to sleep.
What is the food like at Jaego’s House?
We offer a varied menu suitable for you and your little ones; with healthy and nutritious food, alongside some less nutritious but equally delicious options. The menu will vary from time to time as we will use as much seasonal and local produce as possible. For allergy information, pleasecontact us
What is your allergy policy?
We have worked hard to ensure there is something for everyone on our menu, please speak to us if you or your child has any allergies and we will organise something to meet your needs.
Do you have high chairs?
Yes, we have highchairs on-site available for you to use.
Do you sell emergency baby supplies on-site?
Yes, we will have a little shop in the Waterside Café where you can buy supplies for your little ones such as formula, nappies, wipes and food pouches.
Do you have any areas suitable for breastfeeding?
Yes of course! You can breast or bottle feed anywhere at Jaego’s house (apart from the child free areas – Living Room, Gym and Co-Work Space), our staff can bring you a drink and make sure you are as comfortable as possible!
Can I heat up a bottle, sterilise a bottle or ask for boiling water anywhere?
Yes, we can do all of the above for you. Just ask one of our staff and they will gladly help you out.
Can I hire the space exclusively?
No, unfortunately because the space is for members we will not close the venue down for exclusive hire during the day. However, we do offer children’s party packages throughout the week and weekend, and we can hire out the space exclusively in the evening for grown-up events, please contact us to find out more.
Can I have a children’s party at Jaego’s House?
Yes, we will have birthday packages for members and non-members. More information to follow in Autumn 2022.
Do you offer any holiday camps or courses?
Yes, we will offer a programme of events and camps during school holidays, for which members will be entitled to a 20% discount. More information on what will be available will come in Autumn 2022.
Can I park at the venue?
Yes, we offer free parent and child parking spaces to our members, and have two disabled spaces as well. These are all available to book online via the portal.
What is your mobile phone policy?
We are happy for you to use your phones at Jaego’s House. We just ask that you avoid using them in the library. Please do not take photos or video of children who are not your own, without their parent or guardian’s clear permission.
What is there to do for 0-2 year-olds?

What is there to do for 3-5 year olds?

What is there to do for children aged 6-9?

Do you offer anything for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities?
We offer an hour per month during which the family areas of the club can be used by children with special educational needs and/or disabilities exclusively. This time is designed to be a quieter session where your child can explore all of the areas, regardless of age. We also run a sensory class which both members and non-members can book.
How does the Baby Hotel work?
You can book your child into the Crèche and they will be put to bed and watched over by the Crèche staff.
What is included in the memberships?

What if I have more than one child?
You can apply for our Family membership which is £150 per month OR you can use your guest passes (you get four a month included in all memberships). You can buy up to an additional two passes per month for £7.50 each.
How many people can you add to the membership?
You can have up to two additional named adults on the all memberships. On the Family membership you can have all of your children named on the account.
How many children can you add to the Family membership?
As many children as you have, they just have to be from the same immediate family/household.
My child goes to Jaego’s Nursery, do I get a discount at Jaego’s House?
Yes, while your child is enrolled at Jaego’s Nursery, you will be entitled to 20% off any of our membership offerings, including the Joining Fee.
If I have a two children at the Nursery, do I get 40% off?
No, there is a maximum discount of 20% off memberships at one time.
I want to cancel my membership – what’s the notice period?
We ask members for an initial six month subscription commitment, followed by a rolling contract with a two month notice period.
Is this a rolling membership or do I have to sign up/do a renewal?
Once you are signed up, after the initial six month commitment, our memberships are on rolling contract; with a two month notice period.
Do I have to have a child to become a member?
Yes, as we are a family club we will require you to have a child under the age of 9, or be caring for a child/children to become a member (ie legal guardian, grandparent, childminder, many or nanny).
What is your Covid policy?
We are following the government guidelines and will continue to do so. If, because of the pandemic, we are forced to close we will extend your membership by the number of weeks/months that we have had to close – at no extra cost.
How much will the Studio classes for children cost?
From £8 for children who are members, from £10 for non-member children.
How much will the Studio classes for adults cost?
From £10 for adults who are members, from £12 for non-members.
How much will it cost to use the Jungle Gym and Soft Play if I’m not a member?
Pay-and-play costs £10 per child for 90 mins. Each child can be accompanied by one adult.
How much will the members-only Crèche cost once I have used my free hours?
The Crèche will cost £8 per hour or you can purchase or as a member you can buy an additional 16 hours of creche time for £99 as a bolt on
What do the guest passes allow access to?
The guest passes allows access to everything a House membership offers, for the day you choose you to use it. You can book slots for the Gym, Studio classes or treatments for your guests in advance via reception.
Can guests use the Co-Work Space?
No, this space is just for our members who have purchased the House + Work membership or a Co-Work bolt on.
Can I purchase more guest passes?
Yes, you can purchase an additional two guest passes per month via your Jaego’s House online account at a cost of £7.50 per pass.
Can I put my child in the Crèche if I’m not a member?
No, this is a benefit for our members only. If you’d like to know more about joining, click here
Can I attend Studio classes if I’m not a member?
Yes, most definitely! We do have some member-only classes but plenty that non-members can join as well. If you’re visiting on a guest past the House member you’re joining will need to book on your behalf.
Can I have spa treatments if I’m not a member?
Yes, our treatments will be available to book online for members and non-members.
How many people can you add to the membership?
You can have up to two additional named adults on your membership (who can go with your child in your place) and, if you have the Family Membership you can have all of your children named on the account.
Do you vet your staff?
Yes, all of our staff are vetted
What is your illness policy?
We do appreciate that people become ill. However, we do require 24 hours notice to cancel any classes etc. If you don’t let us know about any illnesses, we will charge a £10 fee.
